I'm glad you did start writing them, and glad you kept going!
I've said that the first book pulled me in, but honestly it was the first few paragraphs when Avery reads the cards. So I'm curious... what deck did you see her use, and what was the spread?
Thanks, Dave. I saw Avery using the deck that I most often use, which is the Aquarian deck. As to the full spread, I can't honestly remember what it was right now! I'm really pleased that you're enjoying them.
I absolutely LOVE the White Haven Witches series! I have not branched out into the other books, but I am re-reading some of the the first books! Congratulations on your decision to write! I love your writing! It is truly magical! I have learned a great deal about actual Cornwall, and I think it is great of you to set the story in towns that are similar to, and very near, actual places, so that you can blend your world into actual places and times! Excellent!
Hi TJ, I am just getting into Vengeful Majic and have to say you are a very talented writer easily able to grip you readers and keep them reading on its taken 4 weeks to get half way through book 7 having read the first six and unable to put the books down. Keep up the good work. Paddy
Hi TJ. Reading your blog I was totally enthralled in your story. I found your first book on the White Haven witches through knowing the Town in Cumbria Whitehaven and thought it was about that area. Well I was hooked from the start, and continued into your other series too, loving the nephillan and Shadow. The shifters are fab too and well the Moonfell gals are just brilliant. I’d love them to meet up with the white Haven coven. Birdie I think could teach them a thing or two. Thankyou TJ for all the years of fab books/reading/wine/ definitely chocolate 😂
My husband camped at Menabilly when he about 13 (now 84), they had a wonderful time. They walked from Par station, with their gear on their backs. They were a right on the coast, at Menabilly farm. He reckons it was where the smugglers came in, up the narrow gully, where only small boats could reach…
As a teenager in the 60’s, we used to go to gigs at Carlyon beach….
I nearly drowned swimming at Rock!
And we used to bunk off school to go to the Mayday celebrations at Padstow. Usually a mini got pushed into the harbour. Nowadays, they give school children the day off!
I came about White Haven in passing on Facebook, with a pretty picture of a cottage...
They've always been so magickal to me anyways...
I purchased the first 6 books from Happenstance Books, possibly even the first 12... And then, after books 1 and 2, which I read in one day... I felt like I had found my "coven"!
I love how you can become so intertwined in the lives of the characters, and how it just makes reality far more beautiful!
I am a reader for life! Especially after White Haven Hunters, which seems based on actual events in history. And now the Storm Moon Shifters!!! And Moonfell! They fill me up...
Thank you for answering some of the questions that have been rattling around in my mind since starting on the series. Would love somewhere down the line to know a bit more about the backstory for characters like Stan and Zoe! Being Welsh, stories set in our sister nation of Cornwall are always welcome!
That is so interesting to read how the Whitehaven series evolved. I have read 11 and am currently reading 12. I have also preordered 13 (can't wait), all on e-book. I did order Whitehaven and The Lord of Misrule in hardback, as I do miss the feel of a book and turning the pages, but I found the print too small, so I have now bought it as an e-book.
Will this series continue? I have loved every one of them.
I live in the Midlands, UK, and have always had an interest in witches and have read many historical novels. I am also a gardener and love growing herbs, especially lavender.
I'm retired now and make little mice and dress them as witches. All your characters inspire me when I'm dressing them and adding their little accessories.
Thanks Mary. Yes, it will continue, as long as I can write great storylines. I would hate for it to become stale. So far, so good though! Lovely to hear you're from the Midlands. I love that you make little mice! They sound wonderful. I'm so pleased my characters give you inspiration. Thanks, TJ x
I enjoy your stories although I have to wait until they come out as Audiobooks, My eyesight is not as good as it once was, I really enjoy that Diana Croft uses so many voices and Dialects when she reads, I live in Niedersachsen - Germany having left the Armed Forces and settled here, I hear many Audiobooks from various authors but your books and stories are at the top of my list, Thank you very much for your work and I hope you have many more successes with your books. Thank you, John. We are recording more of my books, and next year they will all be audiobooks. Hopefully, they will then be released closer to release.

That's a lovely compliment. Thank you. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.

So, happy memories!
Sounds wonderful - apart from the near drowning, of course!

That sounds like a wonderful place. 😊
