Loved reading about your pre-author life - great stuff indeed. And thanks for sharing with us. I didn't do bands but did marry a drummer and went on many gigs in the early 70s (yes I'm old!) and my husband was the drummer on Walk on the Wild Side (Lou Reed's Transformer album) among others. Not so much a great husband but a fantastic drummer. :) I like Pilates but am very lazy and need to do more. I loved having a garden but now have a patio space with pots but am aiming to have many more this year if we get a decent spring/summer in the UK.
Thanks so much for sharing. Wow about your husband! What an album to drum on. Sounds like you had a fun-packed life. Fingers crossed for a lovely spring and summer!
I have never lived the exciting life! I've always been content to have a nice quiet life, with a book and cup of tea in hand and a cat curled up in my lap, and a dog at my feet!
I'm just learning yoga, and grateful that I can actually do it!
I can't say much about gardening, but house plants, orchids and violets keep me entertained!
I love, love, LOVE to read and write! After a failed attempt at publishing poetry in 2008, I have never written again! 😒
I love being a witch, and practicing Pagan, and I have been on my journey on this path for a little over 30 years!
Much love and luck to my fellow Happenstance Book Fans!!!
There's nothing wrong with a quiet life. You should totally write again though. I am awful at writing poetry. If I'd have stuck with that, I would never had sold anything!
‘’Thoroughly enjoyed reading this! Now I need to explore Lawrence Durrell, read all his brothers books, “My family and other animals” was our GCE Eng Lit book, Animal Farm was another we had back then. Looking forward to the next books!
Interesting life! And good for you. At 17 I was told I would likely never have children, so for yrs I replaced that with pets of all kind except snakes. I cannot be near them. But, I proved them wrong when, at 23, I found myself pregnant & divorcing. But I always have had pets & always will. My daughter was raised with lots of animals. She has raised my 3 grandkids the same way. I went through nursing school & did that for decades in many area's of the USA & many area's of nursing as a profession. I'm retired now & still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I enjoy your books, TJ. They help me capture some of the adventure I missed in my early years.
Your background is as exciting as your books, amazing likeness to my own, however I can fit the crazy old lady bit now, seen better days, or perhaps I should say I am in my crone phase, gathered a lot of witchy knowledge! Loving the latest White Haven book too. Blessed Be.

Very similar background to me also hung around in bands ( I’m my punk days) now I’m more crone
rock than punk rock.
Also a cat loving childless yogi who loves gardening and reading too oh and an obsession with knitting.

That's so cool! I don't think that rebellious streak ever leaves us. 🥰

I read Animal Farm, too. I did not enjoy that as much...
No, it was quite a scary book, a bit demoralising, wasn’t it.
Totally!

It sounds like you had lots of your own adventures, with more to come!
You have had one exciting life TJ and still adding to it. Your books are so good. I get totally engrossed and just takes me to me time!!! Thankyou x
It's my pleasure. Thank you!

Definitely the crone phase over crazy old lady! Glad you enjoyed the latest. :) Thank you.
